Hi JSJ, I now have no TrackIR support anymore. I have a new computer with vista 64 Bit, everything works fine, but not my loved gplshift with track ir support. My G25 Shifter works fine, he is automatically detected by gplshift, but not my TrackIr. I deleted, as read in your help my gpl*.exe files, unpatched gpl, patched it new, started gem+ several times, but no TrackIR anymore.
Please help me. Rolf
p.s.: I use the 60fps patch and it is also working fine.

Hi Rodolfo I don't have so must time for GPLshift in the moment because of work with the TIR4KRS Patch Project. 1. Unden the GPLshift installing did you see "We have made a SUCCESSFUL PATCHING..."? 2. Using latest version of GPLshift (0.750) & TIR software? (4.1.036) 3. GPL version? (US/UK... 1.2.0.1?) 4. When in the Car/F10 did you see below "GPLshift: Enabled NP TrackIR Unit support..."? 5. Can you Uninstall the 60fps patch and then evt. run GPLpatch.exe again 6. Have you installed the 1969 Car Mod? ( www.1969gpl.speedgeezers.net/ ) Best JSJ

I tried to test more systematical: GPL65, 67 and 69: GPL Shift detects Track IR and it works, G25 is also detected
only GPL66 is without detecting Track IR, but G25 is detected.
So Track IR is only not working in GPL66.
I have latest patches installed.
Thanks in advance, Rolf

Hi Rolf
Thanks for the info. I have tested the US vers. with allmost all car mods, also 66, no problems! are you shure you have patched currently? Try this to be shure:
1. Run GPLshift_Patch.exe: click on "no" if you see the message "It seems we have PATCHED GPL.EXE..." or "Yes" if you see "This is a PATCH..." please notice the version number you see in the second message "we have made a SUCCESSFUL..."
2. Move/delete GPLc66.exe
3. Run GEM - GEM should then create a new GPLc66.exe (copy of the patched org. gpl.exe)
I will try to find the German version I have somethere and test it if you still have problems.
Best JSJ
PS: I was wrong: the latest GPL version is 1.2.0.2 and I am sure you have that because GPLshift v0.750 do not support older version anymore

I did again what you told me and I think, I found the reason: Must be a problem with Gem+, latest version 2.5.26
I start GPL 66 with Gem+: No trackIR
I start directly gplc66 in my GPL folder: TrackIR is detected by your software and runs fine.
My GPL is german version 1.2.0.2 GPL shift is v0.750
I hope, this will help you and thank you very much for your work, Rolf

Are you sure you have the latest GEM+ ? My version say 2.5.9 (2.5.90? or 2.5.09?) in the Title/task bar and have it from gem.ebi-service.de/downloads.html GPLs_0504.zip (gpls_505.exe 22-12-07 21:54) (or was it from RSC?) I hope RSC coming back soon! JSJ

I followed your link and found gem+ 2.5.09, installed it and started it, after deleting all gplc*.exe files. Everything is the same. Then I deleted the gplc*.exe files again and unpatched gpl, patched it again, started Gem+ and found, everything is like it was, only gplc66 isn't trackIR working when started out of Gem+. Is it started directly, everything is fine. Maybe a problem with Gem+, I think, I post this problem in their forum, maybe they can help me. I will send you everything helpful, Rolf

So Track IR is only not working in GPL66. I have latest patches installed. Thanks in advance, Rolf It's been found that if you start up the GPL 66 mod through GEM, you can't adjust the driver POV/FOV and I assume this is related to the TrackIR issue. However, if you run GPL with the 66 mod by using the gplc66.exe directly you can use that feature of GPLShift. It looks to me that there's something in GEM when you start up the 66 mod only that hinders use of GPLShift's function.

I sent a pm to Paul Thurston, but didn't get an answer yet. I think, if possible, he will give a solution.

Cheching the gplshift source codes in the moment because it does not work with NaturalPoint new TrackIR 5 software, and I can see now there can be some GPLshift + GEM + CAR66 issues will look at it and test CAR66 2.0 again soon as I receive the new TrackIR 5 Unit ( www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/products/trackir5/)Sorry for bad English JSJ
