Shifter_Model = AUTO should work, but GPL doesn't see more than two controllers normally. You have three seperate controllers.
I think that in GPLShift.ini you need to set [ GPL AXES ] Share_All_16_AXES = 1 so that more than the two controllers can be seen in GPL

I just posted my Shfterr.wav at SRMZ at gplmz.bcsims.com/index.php?showtopic=4383You could make your own by simply finding a suitable noise (buzz or ginding), adjust the loudness, rename it shfterr.wav and put it in your sierra\gpl folder.

Well - first post and I'm hoping you guys ill know how to solve the problem I'm having! Here goes...
I have an ActLab RS Shifter, and a Fanatec GT3RS wheel (wheel + Clubsport pedal set), and although i can get GPL to accept that the buttons are there (when I select any button for upshift/downshift) in the Options window (the paddles come up as Buttons 27 and 28) it doesn't work when I get in the car to drive. My look left and right, lift arm, pitboard, etc.) work fine from the wheel - just the up and downshift paddles... This was my last go at getting it to work - I want to use my shifter - just got to the end of my tether and was trying anything to get it all to work seamlessly.
I have pretty much exhausted the permutations in order to get it to work to no avail.
GPLShift utility comes up with the message that everything is attached and working (down at the bottom of the screen in green). I've tried all the suggestions previously mentioned here (changing the ini file, etc.) and still no happy-happy-joy-joy.
I've also tried unattaching the ActLab shifter, putting the pedals through the wheel and also via a separate USB connection, all with no luck.
i guess it must be something pretty stupid that I've missed - you know, when you go looking for something you think you know what it looks like and never find it - because it doesn't look anything like the thing you think it looks like!!!!!
Gosh darn this is annoying the hell out of me - I've been trying to get GPL working for about 2 years!! And now I'm so close I can tell what religion it is and what side it dresses on..
Help me Obi-wans - you are my only hope!

On first glance, it looks like you've missed something simple. In the gplshift.ini, did you set Shifter_Model = none if you want to shift with the paddles only?
On the other hand, if you had the Act-Labs shifter attached, why were you shifting with the paddles?

Hello burtonlazar
Quick Check List, if you want to use AL Shifter:
GPL's OPTIONS/SOUND & GAMEPLAY (DrivingAids) Deselect Automatic Shifting (OFF) ------------------------------------------------------------ GPL's OPTIONS/CONTROLS (Set Controls) Shift Up KP + Shift Down KP -
Any lock?
It seems that GPL/shift not support high button numbers when using GT3RS unit?, I will look at this problem soons as I receive my GT3RS from Fanatec.

Bob... I was trying the paddles in desperation!!! But thanks to both you and JSJ for the feedback and help...
Thanks to this, the buttons on the wheel got sorted and it gave me an idea in how to possibly rectify the problem.. I set the USB to 1 - but it didn't work at first... Then I set the gearchange (in GPL) to kp+ kp-. And that was it! I was (in my own dumb way) assuming that the wheel would be USB ID1 and the ActLab would be ID2.... Therefore the USB =2... Doh.
The amount of times I tried every other derivation of all the stuff mentioned here to almost, but not quite working...
But thanks a bunch guys... Much appreciated! Now just got to learn Targa Florio!!
