GPLShift and G27

I'm trying to get this to work with the new G27.

I have done a fresh install of GPL and patched it up using gplinstallmax_0.97_US.exe

Then patched it using GPLshift0771

In GPL, it doesn't recognize any input from the shifter (default buttons of kp - and kp + are still assigned to shift up and down).

I know GPLshift is loading (enabled the clutch sound in the ini without it being in the root - resulting in an error).

I have assigned shift up and down to 3rd and 4th gear on the shifter and button assignments do appear.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Go back to the default in GPL's Options kp - kp +
then replace AUTO with 1.USB or e.g. 2.USB if G27 is the 2nd. device etc.
(see in Windows Game Options list), as this in GPLshift.ini:

[ Shifter Unit ]--------------------------------------
Shifter_Model = 2.USB

--------------------------------------------------------

I have just discoved that GPLshift does not support G27 Shifter at all
Back later with a solution... ;D
