Hi all, first off, thank you so much to help keep GPL at the top end of sim racing with the extra functionality provided by GPLShift.
I have a problem where I am trying ro get FaceTrackNoIR to work with GPLShift and GPL.
What I am encountering is that when I am in the car, i can get the tracking to move me around but it seems that when I look straight, the screen freezes with a sub picture in the top left corner which displays the rear view (as in looking 180 deg rotation). Sometimes the main view will be just the tv like snow - no signal. If i then turn my head either side, the main screen returns and all is good and I can drive off. turn my head back to the straight position, and problem re-occurs.
For outside the car (F10) the drivers helmet dissapears from the thingypit when the problem occurs.
I have all the latest versions installed (GPL188.8.131.52, GPLShift 0.7.9 and FaceTrackNoIr 1.5). I have set the gplshift.ini to lookaround=1.MOU and have deleted all gplxxx.exes and repatched several times I have tried selecting 1 axis at a time to see which is could be causing the issue but it all seems to be tied in with the YAW axis (look left-right) and x Axis (move left-right)
Does anyone have any ideas on this please. I read a thread over in SRMZ where it could be due to the driver position being below ground level, but not sure how I could resolve this.
Don't worry found my issues. ;D . I will post the profile up once i have got it working smoothly.
It was the Pitch and MoveUp/Down axis curves that had to have a Neutral Point value of the max value (default 50) within FaceTrackNoIR. This seem to stop my problems. I am going to test this on another race rig to ensure it is the finally answer.
