no i have just one monitor...with background i mean: TS in fullscreen and if i stroke alt+tab then i see TIR working. yes i changed the ini.file in TIR and TIR recognises that. i done the TEST and no changes there. it seems that the mod-script opens TIR for TS but the gamemanager not responds to it. Something is locked there,a dll? or i don t know...i am real sad about it..

Thanks...i got it but the same happens..nothing. Today i do a fresh install of the whole TS2014 via Steam,then the other install s,TIR,patch 1.2.0.0, i put a TS Profile to the right place...and just the same thing happens: TIR-Camlights both on...but no movement. its brobably a memory access issue on my OS. thanks a lot for your tips. greets

Which antivirus program do you use ? Can you send all your TrackIR5 (v5.2.2) profiles (.xml) in .../NaturalPoint/TrackIR5/Profiles/ and TIR4RW5.ini file, found in ...\RailWorks\ to me via jsj@gplshift.dk so I can test them, on my PC Thanks for your time and help to find evt. bug in my Mod. hi, i don t use any antivirus progs,and yes i surely send you those files. and i have to thank you for your support! now,i had an old secured RW2013,do this just before the game was updated to TS2014, on an old harddisc..i can play it OFFLINE. I take your old mod,1.0.1.1, and install it in the secured RW13. I started the Game TS 2013 offline in the same way..no extra profile needed..with TIR v5.2.2. and what you think it does? Yes,it worked! on the same OS. i think...what the..but i am not a programmer at all. perhaps it s usefull for you to know this with the running TIR+ RW13. i have Win7 Ultimate 64bit German Vers,SSD,AMD FX 4100,GF660 GTX Ti, 16 GB Sniper -Ram...and now a TrackIr...lol. greets..i send you the files.

hi -yes my TrackIr Software is up to date 5.2.200 and i start it in Admin Mode. Just a question to you: What size has your Gamemanager.dll in the actual Version? v39.3a . Mine is = 75.637 KB. and my Gamemenager VC = 23.591 KB. JSJ - What is patched by your mod? The Gamemanager.dll? I deleted yesterday all the TS14 Datas from my SSD and let Steam reinstall it from the Scratch. I think that my online stored installation foulty is..it s something wrong with the gamemanager.dll cuz i can reinstall it a million times...it will not work with the patch. The TIR Cam is recognized everytime i start TS2014 but that s all. no connection between patch and gamemanager?! TS14 runs real smooth and fast , TIR runs superbly in my Flightsim, Eurotruck 2 Sim and the other sims that i owe- makes me mad cuz i LOVE this bloody TS. oh man...

Yes I understand your frustration!
Yes tir4RW5.dll is patching GameManage.dll (GM) after checking for org. GM v39.3a codes
in RW memory and if found okay then Init. TrackIR = Green right LED.
I am using special MS API call and some AV programs don't like them and popup with
warning and block for tir4rw5.exe
Does your Ultimate version of Win7 have some kind of buildin AV/Security system
there could force tir4rw5.dll to exit after init TIR. ?(= dead TIR supp.) Hmmm.

I never tried 1.1.1.0 version. Only this one. Quite weird problem, my TIR works fine with other games. What OS do you have? Johnny |

hi JSJ, i think you re right with these security things, i don t know how i can check it in windows,where should i search for it? as i wrote,the ts2013 works well on the same OS with your patch for it! 1.0.1.1patch. I had an hdd system-disc C:\... and i bought a ssd and kloned my system to that new SSD. ewrithing works fine, or is that the problem with the security of Win7 ,i don t know...perhaps..

Oops! my inet connection (NESA Denmark) has be down almost 5 days,  but up now,  I can't advise you regarding ultimate version of Win7 since I only have Home P. vers. try asking on uktrainsim.com or whatever forum you prefer. I thing I will code a little program there checks that TIR4RW5.dll is still alive and well when you are in the Cabview, but it have to wait to the weekend. Sorry for my English. Best Johnny |
