Thanks for this nice program.
1) It will be possible to enable the use of the analog clutch (3rd pedal) with the minimum thresold to get a gear shift, and avoid trottle blimp, also without a shifter? I know this may be sound weird, but I have a 3 pedals set but I havent a shifter. So it will be great if I'll have to depress clutch before shifting with "sequential" (next gear-prew gear) standard gpl buttons.
2) It will be possible to enclude an option in the next relase of this nice GPLshift+, that enable only upshift but not downshift without depressing clutch? I've read often race drivers don't use clutch when upshift, but had to depress clutch when downshift.

For 1) I'm very sure that it's possible. Just set the shifter used to "none", but set the clutch to the desired threshold for engagement.
What you can do is back up your gplshift.ini and try it. If it doesn't work, just revert back to the original ini file.

I can't. I've tried to set to "none" the shifter and to 5 ( also 6, 7, 8, 9...) the threshold, but I still can shift without pressing the clutch, and there is throttle blimp ; same thing setting to "auto" the shifter. Maybe I do any stupid mistake?

The Clutch_Threshold support works only with a Shifter (disabled in "Shifter_Model = NONE" mode) but I will see what I can do in v0.6, but I am not optimistic

Hi, I'm joining to Primipilus request: I've an analog clutch too, but, for the moment, no shifter. Thank you very much in advance. Great software

Hello, I second the request for this. It would be great to have clutch support for those of us without shifters.
Thank you!!!!!! Todd

Another request for analogue clutch. I have four pedals by using 2 x 2 pedal units (1 USB 1 gameport). I use right hand pedal of the lefthand set as a clutch. It would be good if this was analogue.
Great util though. Single best aid to my driving (FOV).
Cheers
Ken

Not sure if you're saying this, but your clutch pedal is analog if it's using a pot. In other words, if you put it into 5th gear, you can start and drive the car around by slipping the clutch, so it isn't digital which would be simply engaged or not engaged.
The requests above are that people without the stick shift (they're using the paddles on the wheel) want the requirement that you can set in GPLShift that the pedal be depressed 50 to 90% before you are allowed to make a gear change.

Old one this I know ... But, did the function to allow forced clutch usage without the shifter make it into v0.6 or any subsequent release? I'm guessing not but very slightly hopeful that it did Adrian

AdrJSJ, Interesting that you say you are not optimistic about implimenting this support. I'm intrigued as to where the challenge lies. I assume that GPLShift sets the GPL gear value directly to a given value based upon the Active Labs Shifter position locator being pressed. And I have seen this in action and it works beautifully Is it not 'simply' a case of ignoring the assigned gear up and down inputs for GPL and assigning new buttons/keys which are effectively like the Active Labs inputs. Except that there are only two. One up and one down. GPLShift then needs to see if the user wants to go up one gear or down one gear. Add or subtract one from the current gear value and patch the new value in to GPL as it would for use with the shifter? As long as the utility assigned up/down buttons/keys are not the same as the ones defined in the GPL option panels then the auto clutch and auto blip should not be engaged? Leaving GPLShift to works its magic without interuption? Would that not do it? Or am I missing something? Ever hopeful ... Adrian
