Strange bug with latest version

hello and thanks for this great addon to GPL.
I have a problem and i dont know why... I ve the latest version of the trackir driver installed and gplshift 0.720.
I ve done a new install of gpl (1.2.0.2) and used gplshift to patch it. no problem , i ve launched the game, all ok. I m using the vector expension without problem.
if i quit, and if i want to play again, i ve got an error if the trackir is running "unable to find npclient.dll" ( the track ir still working with others games) . And if the trackir isnt running nothing happen as if i didnt try to launch the game.
i ve two ways to solve the problem. either i reboot or i unpatch / repatch the game with the gplpatch.exe.
but i have the same problem after (anything working fine on first launch and after that the same thing happens.)
i dont know why ... i ve tried the GPLshift+ v0.711 ALPHA.

do you have any clues ? thx anyway.

Strange problem. I have the latest GPLShift, v.0.720, and TrackIR3 with the expansion kit. I don't have any problem like this.

The only problem that I have is that if I'm in a race in GPL, I have to set trackir.exe to high priority or there are big delays in movement att he start of a race. Do that by ctrl+alt+del > task manager > processes > right click on trackir.exe and set the priority.

This isn't a solution to your problem, though. Sorry.

I did a Google of npclient.dll and there is some discussoin that you might want to look through.

hello, thx for the reply. i ve just changed my config (CG+CM +Memory ) and sadly same bug. changing the priority = same bug. I dont understand why ... maybe its my gpl version. what i can"t understand is that i didnt have this bug with a previous version of gplshift but ive erased it ....

It's very strange that it work first time but not after that, have you installed a
new TrackIR hard/soft over a older version?

GPLshift need to load NPClient.dll for supporting TrackIR but do not known where you
have installed the file, so GPLshift searching for the Path/file in Windows registry
and will come with a error message if it can't find the dll there, or something has going wrong under the Win API calls.

Is it possible that you could search for NPClient.dll in win. Reg. for me before and after you get the error message:

1. Start regedit.exe
2. Right click on HKEY_CURRERT_USER and then search for:

NPClient Location

Try again with F3 key for searching for a 2nd.... path (older installing?)
(GPLshift will only user the first found path)

BTW: You can still download old v0.711 on my homepage.
