How to assign buttons for shifting

Hi JSJ!

This is Jason from Korea who appreciate ur GPLShift+

I'm posting this messsage to get how to assign buttons manually.

Because I'm using Logitech G25 Racing Wheel which includes a 6 h-matic shifter.

In this case , 1st gear is assigned for button 9, 2nd is button 10, ...blabla...6th is button 14 and Reverse gear is assigned for button 15.

I want to change GPLnuts function for kep mapping,

I guess ur GPLShift assigns button 1 to 7 for Shifting because I can shift gear positions with button 1 to 7 on my G25.

I'd like u to help me,JSJ.

Hopefully U'l have a solution for this.

Hi, I am using the Logitech G25 wheel too. I have V7.10 and it will not recognize any of the buttons on the shifter (there are 7 gear positions, 8 buttons, and a 4-way hat on the shifter)

I tried to get V7.20 to see if that would work, but there seems to be a problem with the website.

Does V7.20 work with the G25? Is there a way to add functionality for all 19 'buttons' on the shifter?

For Reference, the shifter in the G25 connects to the wheel with a DB9 connector (like a serial cable) and the wheel connects to the PC by USB.

I cheated on GPLShifte+ with changing some configuration manually.

Here is my Settings (GPLShift.ini)

set 1.USB so ur GPLShift can recognize G25 as other compatable shifters such as Actlab.

then run 'GPLPathch.exe' to apply this patch on GPL.exe

it's all i did.

It works well only the buttons among 1 to 7..

other buttons(8-to16) and Axis are able to be assigned manually on GPL controller set-up menu.

Thanks for the reply, that seems to work, but i dont want a 3-speed powerglide with pushbutton shifter for my GPL car.

the shift gates are not actually buttons (at least they are not called that in the wingman profiler)
