Here is my shifting delays with the newer Act-Labs H- shifter. I think that some of the up- or down-shifts (0.83 sec) are long because I missed the shift by hitting the gate divider or miss-timing the clutch.
The heel-and-toe required doesn't really lose me much time I see. That's interesting. All that practice is paying off. But using an H-shifter is slower due mostly to the right foot braking technique and also having to have only one hand on the FF wheel during mid-corner shifts.
Ah, I see that I can't add an attachment here.
So shift times are reported as typically 0.111 to 0.194 seconds through a whole lap of 31 shifts at Clermont-Ferrand65, 69 mod Brabham, with 0.83 seconds 7 times with what I'm sure was a missed shift.
Jason, your "time spent in neutral" averages out to 0.105 secs per shift and mine is about 0.124, so it doesn't look like that's a problem, but the same gear shifts is odd.

I've got the same problem with the speed of the shifts with g25 shifter.. it's not like the shift itself is slow, but the like the clutch is slowly let out. the result of which is that you "eons" for smooth power delivery afterwards... I've popped a bunch of motors and I don't know what setting to change to make the whole shift happen faster (didn't have this problem with RS shifter [original+usb adapter]
any advice would be well received.

I also experience the "zing" in revs when shifting. Even when slowly making sure there was no missed shift, and clutch throttle were correctly timed, the engine revs jumped as if the clutch wasnt disengaging quick enough. Cant wait for JSJ to get his G25 so he can see it for himself. Thanks for supporting your software to allow the G25s to work.
I can also confirm that Johnny Ack's problem hasnt happened here, and my tech partner cant see any reason that GPLShift would cause your problem...looks like you just got a dud mate.

HI , I have to this "zips" when going up a gear. looks like autochluch to me ,that lift slowly. hm strange. in NR2003 no problems. if i hit ger up fast or slow ther is instant gear change whit no reving up on chluch.
same thing happenig when in gpl shift whit no chluch. revs are up for some time. in RA there says 0.18x fast but when driving is not ok. like loosing time.
sory form My english I am from Croatia, cya and many many thx for thiis program.
