To remove an error message about ini file version,
Change the former version information with latest one.
(BOLD letters above)

Hey this patch works but only somewhat i think. engine about zings itself to death every shift if u try to shift with any amout of speed. it goes to neutral on the way to each gear, I think thats the issue, but dont know. ive never had a gated shifter till now. back to paddles till I hear something different. Dont want to be 1-2 seconds slower a lap waiting so long to shift with this issue.

what I mean is that u have to lift for a very long time between gears and let off wayy too much,and its awful.

now,after going back to paddles, I have a calibration leak of some sort. the wheel slowly loses center, not like the black momos that lost it when moved fast, but like the center slowly leaks away till its over to the left about 40 degrees. happens while driving gpl, and shows up in windows afterwards. if unplug and plug it back in, it recalibrates with the center off. dont know what is wrong here. hope I dont have to return this.  |

now the wheel doesnt work at all, and the gate light is mysteriously blinking, seq light solid. pedals still show up in windoze but no wheel. I reloaded windows, and it still did this, Its fried. wtf. all I ran was gplshift and gpl, besides the profiler of course in the beginning. Is the gplshift really this dangerous??? Wheel, pedals and shifter, are on the way back to be replaced, I told them they were defective.They bought it thank god. You better double check this new version of gplshift, and make sure it doesnt fry everyone elses g25, if this is what happened to mine. kind of odd the gate light blinking on the shifter base like it was after it died.

I don't have a G25 device so I can't check it, and do not know what
"gate light is mysteriously blinking" etc. means , but I can tell
you that GPLshift only read the incoming DirectX date (button info)
loaded by GPL, and then change GPL's gear position data, also in memory,
GPLshift does not chance anything in your G25 hardware devise or
read info from it! - it's up the GPL to create FF, calib. etc.
So I don't understand what happen in your case.
Hope you understand my pure English.
EDIT: Hope you will receive another device.

JSJ ] Hey thanks, I will be getting another wheel,(of course never mentioned I used third party software:) )its on warranty. Its just hard to believe that it died, I hope its not a problem with all of them. To be exact, I ran the patch and undid it two times, and used no. 9 as an option once. went back to the paddles after speed of shifting too slow for fast times.I appreciate your work on getting it to work and will test more. Will run wheel in gpl without 5 speed for now, and wait to see if new wheel stays alive. |

 Hi JSJ This is my time data for shifting with GPLShift+ v0.730a. The stange thing is that same gear shifting. (cf. 4->4..5->5) I think it cause "The Zings" mentioned by Johnny Ackerman right after shifting. is it alright? this is my first time for using gate shifter, so I don't hav no idea with this. Hey got new g25 and its fine. just afraid to use gplshift now, jsj, when are you going to get one? ;D Also wanted to know if anyone elses wheel is dead or not. Anyone?? My new ones still ok and I have two solid leds on the shifter again, and its working fine with just sequential. Hope something happens that can ease my fears with using gplshift again. Thanks for your work again though. I do truly appreciate it.

Logitech will send me a complete G25 set, as soon euro section receive units ;D as I understand it
and I will then check it with GPLshift and come with a update if necessary!

Congratulations! Finally,You'l get G25 set. When u get it, please check if u have shifting delay as a result of unnecessary same gear shifting right after upshifting or downshifting.
