Pause button and G25

hi
i'd like to set the button 1 (first red button on the left on shifteer...) to pause...
i tried to sety it with profiler but when in game it seems that continously press pause button....
i press once that red button and it begin to pause on-off-on-off....
what can i do?

gplkeymaster and joytokey seems don't works...

I really would like to know, cause I've got the very same problem!
I tried with various programs, which assign keystrokes to buttons, but none does work in GPL with my G25:(

Oh JSJ, could you bring up a solution for those drivers, whose reverse-gears do not work anymore on the shifter?
