I just received my Act-Labs RS pedals with clutch and I thought I would be able to modulate the clutch engagement in GPL however it responds just like a button either engaged or disengaged no in between. Am I doing something wrong? Please help!

My experience is that the clutch slips OK in GPL. Just try driving in top gear only, by using lots of revs and moderating the clutch travel.
If you're truly getting only on and off clutch action, it might be that you haven't calibrated the clutch pedal through it's full range. You need to calibrate in GPL's controllers > Joystick calibration menu BEFORE assigning the clutch axis.

Bob Thanks for the reply. I have done the calibrations in both windows and in the GPL interface and GPL shows a full range of motion on all pedals. Yes I guess it does slip a little it does not kill the engine when I let the clutch out, I just thought I would have more control using the clutch pedal than I did using a mapped button. Something similar to the brake or gas pedals. The clutch pedal even with a potentiometer with a long range of motion acts more like a button, I am assuming that some software would have to be added to GPLshift in order to accomplish a true clutch action (progressive engagement) and that it must not be an easy thing to do or it would already have been done.

I'm guessing that you have some kind of hardware problem. In GPL, at Monza where the straights are very long, I can run the 1969 Ferrari (max revs at 12,000) at 7,000 to 8,000 in top gear from a standstill by slipping the clutch. I just floor the throttle and modulate the clutch to get moving.

Bob
I tried Monza in high gear and it works but it works the same as when I map a button to the clutch. I also have GT Legends and the clutch works great in that sim. Lots of modulation very easy to use. There must be some setting I am not getting correct in GPL.
