I am actually after a GPLSHIFT.INI as i've tried to set this up but i think i'm too stoopid as it won't work, this is down to my understanding not the software !!

Don't give up mp260767 It IS difficult to setup .INI, I now, but that was the only way I could find out back in Oct 2000 went I creaded the RS Shifter support I have never learn to write in C++ VB I can't create user friendly menu e.g as GPL Glance.
If nothing is working, then try this little test
After inst of GPLShift and successfully patching of GPL.EXE
1. Move GPLshift.ini away from GPL root and then 2. Start GPL.EXE 3. Exit GPL You should see a new GPLshift.ini in GPLs dir. (it means GPL has loaded GPLshift.dll )
4. Enable a function e.g Zoom functions:
[ ZOOM ]----------------------------------------------------------------------- Zoom_In_Out_Mode = KA ;Zoom with keyboard arrow keys
Working?
5. If so then let os try with Look L/R Win98(?) Game Options/Controller IDs:
MSFF Wheel OK (first in the list)
[ LOOK LEFT/RIGHT ]------------------------------------------------------------ Left_Right_Mode = 1.BUT
Look_Left45d_Button = 0 (your MSFFs 1st. button should give you a Left Look 45d Look_Left85d_Button = 0 Look_Left135d_Button = 0 Look_Right45d_Button = 1 ;2nd button Look_Right85d_Button = 1 Look_Right135d_Button = 1
Double click the button = 85d Triple click = 135d
Any luck?

HI JSJ,
thanks for the reply, tried those settings but had troublt working the double/triple click, so i've set the left/right to 85.
The problem is that the left 85 is fine but the right 85 seems to be closer to 135 than 85.
I don't have the setting in action for viewing the engine/rear wheel, although if i did i would expect both views to be the same, is it a setting i have wrong ?
cheers, mark.......
