Hi All,
I have a fresh install of GPL patched to 1.2.0.2 using gplinstallmax_0.97_UK.exe and I've patched GPL with GPLshift0750 all in the correct order and got the right message boxes. I used to run Trackir5 but could not get it working with GPL so tried Trackir4.1. I can bow look around but can neither zoom by moving my head forward, nor move the view from side to side.
After posting a similar message yesterday I ran GPL and it worked!!, I hadn't made any changes at all just started the game and it was working so I thought it had somehow sorted itself. I deleted the post and after a little test rebooted the game needless to say it stopped working again.I also have the same issue on the demo.
The lights on the device look fine, both blue and green LED on.
Just one other point of interest - something I've never seen before, when I right clicked the files extracted from GPLshift0750.zip and selected 'Properties' there was an additional button with a message saying the file had been blocked because it came from another computer? Anyone else seen this? Anyway, I've now unblocked them but it hasn't made any difference.
Thanks

Hi Superfly
1. Also loosing Move Up/Down? (only Yaw, Pitch working) and can see the same problem in TIR4 sw. e.g in View/Gauges after exiting GPL?
2. Starting GPL via GEM+ v2.5.026?
3. TIR4 unit?
4. TIR4 Sw v4.1.036 or the new v4.1.037?
5. Did you have this problem before inst. TIR5 software?
I get the same 'Properties' message with XP Home SP3 in danish on GPLshift0750.zip, Strange, maybe because I Zipper GPLshift with a very old unreg. version of WinRAR (2001) Hmm.
BTW: I am Working right now with the missed TrackIR5 Sw. support and other bugs (e.g CAR66)
Sorry for my English JSJ

Hi JSJ,
1. No, up and down is not working either.
2. I'm starting GPL from its exe or a shortcut to its exe I do not have GEM installed.
3. The device is a TrackIR 4:PRO
4. Version 4.1.037 - Final

Got it working,
I found out that if I start the game ensuring the trackir camera cannot see the clip, and then put the cap on once I am in the c0ckpit it works. if for some reason it doesn't work I restart the trackir software and the game.
It's all seems a bit flaky but it does get it going.
Thanks anyway JSJ
