Hi JSJ. Do you plan to add support for this wheel? Or is it needed at all? I now have GPLShift0771.
I have 2 USB controllers. With both connected I can't assign any DFGT button to GPL. Only 3 DFGT axis work and are detected (steer, accel, brake).
The other controller is a Thrustmaster Cougar, with lots of axis/buttons. If I disconnect it, wheel works ok though. Must be something with ID Windows numbering/detection.
Any tip ?
Thanks!

If you still have problem then I need more info about your game devices, e.g web link

Hi and thanks for your quick answer. Yes, I tried your tip in gplshift.ini, but didn't solve my prob. BTW, all 3 DFGT axis (steer, accel, brake) were the only working things. I don't need more axes, I need buttons ;-) and the bloody wheel has a lot of them. It has a 8-way POV, 3 axes and 21 buttons (2 of which are for shifter). Here's the wheel's web link anyway: www.logitech.com/index.cfm/gaming/wheels/devices/4172&cl=gb,en On Logitech page, DFGT is listed as a "Playstation peripheral", but there are official Windows drivers available, and it works perfectly on pc. This is my joystick: www.thrustmaster.com/product.aspx?ProductID=11&PlatformID=5(I also have a Simped flight rudder attached to it - 3 more axis) I attach a screen from poswdm utility, detecting DFGT wheel alone (joy disconnected). Hello again Thanks for the Links Oh, now I understand - The problem is that GPL only support max. 16 buttons in all game controllers (that was many in 1998!) and it get worse if your LT Wheel runs as 2nd. device (ID2) and the 1st. device (ID1) have, let os say 8 buttons, means that GPL only will support the 8 first buttons of the LT Wheel, (act as button 9 and up in GPL's Options) - in the good old days you could move around the gamectrl. ID number with Win95/98 & W2k but not from XP (#ยค%& MS) I have fixed the problem for some Wheel device: Fanatec P911 & LT G25 = supporting 32 buttons alltogether, that should be enough until further I will try to support DFGT & G27 later Sorry for my English Best JSJ

Thanks for replying and taking into consideration DFGT future support.
I also had the feeling it had to be something related to GPL's age and the total number of buttons. In fact my Cougar + my DFGT sum up to quite many of them...
And I've noticed that not all of DFGT buttons are detected. As you say, GPL supports up to 16 buttons.
Ok everything's clear now, I just have to disconnect the joystick. When/If DFGT will be supported, do you think I'll have to keep on disconnecting joystick anyway ?
Hils smukke Danmark!

GPL will support 32 buttons after upcoming DFGT support, but you will still need to unplug your joystick if it runs as first game ctrl. (ID1) and have more than 11 buttons: 12 + DFGT's 21 = 33 = lussing one of the DFGT buttons, and if you add e.g. gamepad with 8 buttons and your DFGT then running as 3rd. (ID3) 12+8+21 = 41 = 9 of DFGT buttons doesn't work in GPL.
BTW: What LT DFGT name do you see in Windows "Game Options" (XP/VISTA) (Win 7 RC: Hardware and Sound/Device and Printers)
"Logitech DFGT Racing Wheel..." ?

Hi. Good News, thanks!!! I can live with this "mandatory disconnection" issue. Games Control Panel says "Logitech Driving Force GT USB". Attachments:
