I am having a problem getting my steering wheel/accellerator and brakes to be recognised by GPL, have spent some hours to no avail,
In the section to set the wheel etc I turn the whee lleft let it return to centre and press OK but then try to to the right axis and it says the first axis is undefined, then when I try to set both the throttle and brakes it doesn' recognise my G25 pedals/throttle at all so I end up using the paddles as a hand throttle and brakes.
I am getting so frustrated and really want to use GPL, bought F1 2010 but thats going back in the box, this is the one for me.
hope somebody can help.............. please

In GPL, you must calibrate the axes FIRST before you assign the axes.
Do this: 1 - Delete the file gpl\players\(your player name)\controls.cfg 2 - Re-start GPL 3 - The first thing you'll see is the joystick calibration window - run all the axes through their full ranges right and left etc. (Look for the little arrow at the bottom to see the next window if not all axes appear there) 4 - Only then can you hit OK and assign the axes in the controllers windlw.

Bob many thanks for your reply, tried that but it still does not like my G25 will not recognise pedals at all !! so I am using left paddle for throttle and right paddle for breaking, its not perfect of course but at least I can use GPL and that's good in my book.
Should I abandon the G25 ? what wheel would work ' out of the box '
Merry Christmas to you all

The G25 is one of the least problematic wheels with GPL as far as I know.
Usually if the usual suggestions don't work it could be a corrupted driver (redownload and reinstall following the instructions carefully) or a needed update for the drivers.
Do the pedals work OK in Control panel > Game controllers?
