Before downloading, and more so, before running this util, I'd like to know something. I'm using FOV+DrivingView, and I only want to have my pitboard fully back in view. Will this util do this without doing anything else? Cause I don't want anything else in GPL touched or added.

Hello Rene And excuse my English.........I am Danish:
Yes you can enable Look L/R & ZOOM (FOV) alone e.g like this:
[ LOOK LEFT/RIGHT ]------------------------------------------------------------ Left_Right_Mode = 1.BUT ;Use the first game controllers (ID#1) buttons
Look_Left45d_Button = 0 ;1st button Look_Left85d_Button = 0 ; Look_Left135d_Button = 0 ; Look_Right45d_Button = 1 ;2nd button Look_Right85d_Button = 1 ; Look_Right135d_Button = 1 ;
Single button press = 45 degree view Double click = 85 Triple click = 135
Or this setup: Look_Left45d_Button = ; Look_Left85d_Button = 0 ;1st button Look_Left135d_Button = 0 ; Look_Right45d_Button = ; Look_Right85d_Button = 1 ;2nd button Look_Right135d_Button = 1 ;
Single button press = 85 degree view Double click = 135
ViewCarEngine&RearWheel = 1 ;See the car engine & rear wheel when looking over your shoulder (135degrees)
[ ZOOM ]------------- Zoom_In_Out_Mode = KA ;Use the arrow keys for zooming

I think you misunderstood. Or I was not clear enough I have changed the FOV to 50 with GPLFOV and adjusted the driving view in all cars with GPLSA to get the mirrors back. This is perfect as it is, and I do not want it changed. But when the pitboard is zoomed in, only part of it is visible, I can not see the number of laps left. What I am looking for is a util that will patch GPL (exe and/or ini's) so that the pitboard is fully visible again. A util that does it the way GPLFOV and GPLSA do it : start util -> set value(s) -> patch gpl -> exit util . Without anything resident needed while racing. If GPLShift can't do that, but you do know what to change (exe bytecount/value, ini setting/value), could I ask you to email me those values so I can do the patching myself? (hmm, of course I can ask, but will you send ;D) René<br>

Hi Rene, It should do what you want. I applied the GPLShift patch over my GPLFOV'ed exe, and it kept it the FOV I had originally set the game to (60 degrees). And I can now see full pitboards again. Just backup your gpl.exe before applying the patch. If you're not satisfied, you can always go back to your previous version. Cheers, -pierre

Nope, doesn't work In GPLShift.ini I changed Shifter_Model = to None as I don't have a shifter, and don't need any of that (I have an old T2 on the gameport, generic in GPL, and no gamedevice in windows). Left the rest of the settings as they are in the zip, then applied the patch. The FOV remains at 50, but still only the right bottom part of the pitboard is shown. Pierre, did you do some other settings? René<br>

Hi Rene, No, I didn't set anything special to see the full pitboard. It works fine with 60 degrees, maybe it can't with 50 degrees... Have you seen this: home.new.rr.com/stoned/index.htm ? Try Pit50WinXXX, it should work for you, you just have to run the batch file and select the track you're about to run. I used to use the 60 degree version before trying GPLShift, it works very well. Hope this helps. Cheers, -pierre

Hi Rene
The pitboard fix in GPLshift+ works only if you have enable the Zoom function, e.g try this
[ ZOOM ] Zoom_In_Out_Mode = KA ;using arrow keys
Please notice this zoom support will overwrite/ignore GPLFOV util. setup
