Hi JSJ
I'm really enjoying your shifter utility, especially the zoom function. Thanks for making it.
But I have two problems. I've tried to get either 85 or 135 degrees look L/R, but all I end up with is both buttons look left, with one normal (45 degrees) and the other also looking left but at 135 or 85. I'm pretty sure I put the button numbers 3 and 4 (on my TSW) in the correct locations in the gplshift.ini file, but I keep getting the same response above. Here are my settings:
Left_Right_Mode = 2.BUT
Look_Left85d_Button = 3
Look_Right85d_Button = 4
Am I doing something wrong?
The second problem is that the JSJ utility doesn't seem to include this shift pattern for the Ferrari (and maybe some of the other cars in GPL):
R 2 4 1 3 5
This, of course, uses the standard 8-slot layout and ignores the far right plane. The ACT Labs shifter utility allows for this pattern (you do it yourself under "custom"), but of course the AL utilitly doesn't have all the great extra features that yours does, and the driver's arm doesn't even move during shifting!
Can you make an extra shifting behaviour option for the 8-Speed Metal Plate? You'd make me very happy!
Thanks, Chris O'B

Hello Chris O'B
Have you remembed GPL & my utility counts buttons from 0, so the 1st will have number 0, 2nd 1 ect Try with number 3 & 4 instead of 4,5 or 2 & 3 if your game contr. only have 4 of them If it don't help then show me your complete GPLshift.ini or send it, so I can test your setup

Hi JSJ
No luck yet. And now I can only get standard look l/r (45 degrees) no matter what I put into the GPLshift.ini file. I tried changing the button numbers to 2 and 3 (from 3 and 4) but no change. I have my TSW set as controller #1 and the USB shifter as controller #2 in the Windows Gaming Options menu. I'd better send you my .ini file. I don't see a way of attaching a file here. How best to send it to you?
And do you have any ideas about the Ferrari shift pattern as mentioned in my first post?
Thanks a lot for your time, JSJ.
