Direct access to reverse gear possible?

Great utility, but i was wondering...
Is it possible to go into reverse gear with one button press, without having a seperate shifter.
I use a joystick for gpl and i always thought it would be more realistic and useful to be able to go striaght into reverse in the event of a spin rather than have to go through all the gears.
I know some gearboxes in 67 were sequential, meaning you had to go through each gear in turn, but i think you could always go straight into reverse if you had to.
