hi everyone, i am basically new to the computing scene, i was introduced to the world of driving sims by a friend and i must say i am very hooked, i mainly play GPL and Nascar 4, my friend asked me to help him build a shifter so he can use it in Nascar 4, we have had success in building and configering the shifter to work in nascar 4, what we are wondering is there a utility that will allow us to use it in GPL, basically what we have are the buttons and wiring from a thrustmaster super sport wheel and configure it as a 6 button joystick using the joystick port to connect to the computer, the wheel and pedal combination is a Microsoft sidewinder ff (USB)at the moment the setup is very rough but when we get time at work (we work for a NASCAR team) we will come up with a lot nicer unit (we know where there are some trick parts that we could use, and have access the lathes, cnc and milling machines lol) i hope there is someone that can help us with this, many thanks see you at the track
